Founded in 1969, the ASPMQ represents and defends member interests in politics, economics, and operations through the Province of Quebec.
ASPMQ's mission is to bring together all companies, distributors, and installers working in the tire and mechanical industry in Quebec to protect, manage and develop all aspects of this industry. ASPMQ offers members support services, information, and training through community partners.
ASPMQ represents over 300 active members across Quebec; this membership includes manufacturers, distributors, and tire installers alongside spare parts installers and service providers.
To aid in representing their members, the ASPMQ sits on the advisory table of Recyc-Québec, Auto Prévention, the Comité Sectoriel de la Main-d’oeuvre, the Parity Committees of Montreal, Sherbrooke, Mauricie, Quebec City, Lanaudière- Laurentides, and Chicoutimi, and the provincial table of parity committees.
The ASPMQ is led by their Board of Directors, with the support and efforts of their Executive Director, Marie-Josée Aubé.
The ASPMQ produces an industry newsletter for tire professionals. The ASPMQ newsletter connects industry professionals with the latest industry news, updates, and articles of information affecting their business. Issues of the ASPMQ Newsletter are available for download on the ASPMQ website.
