Launched in 1960, the ATDA is the collective voice of tire dealers in Atlantic Canada. The ATDA acts as a lobbyist for the Atlantic tire industry, representing its member's interests to government and regulating bodies.
Additionally, the ATDA informs its members about changes in the industry that will affect their businesses, such as government legislation, health and safety, and labor standards, while promoting cooperation between its members, other tire industry associations, and various regulatory bodies.
The ATDA includes the Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labradorrepresenting over 130 members.
The ATDA is led by their Board of Directors, with the support and efforts of their Executive Director, Frank Connor.
The ATDA produces an industry newsletter for tire professionals. The ATDA newsletter connects industry professionals with the latest industry news, updates, and articles of information affecting their business. Issues of the ATDA Newsletter are available for download on the ATDA website.
